In plain words: Riffmaw: music cue maps

Designed 1 min read 2 glossary terms 7 connected pages
The short version written for the Snayu team

How Riffmaw publishes a MusicCueMap: exact musical events (drops, sections, entrances) on a declared timebase that visual or editing apps can respond to without editing the music.

Why read it: Read when syncing visuals or edits to music, or handling retimes that make cues stale.
  1. 1Each cue points to an exact music bundle revision and source region.
  2. 2Consumers request a new map instead of editing Riffmaw's map.
  3. 3A retime or changed master makes the map stale; a new revision is created.

The drop at one exact point in a master can invite a visual answer. Sync makes that musical event available without choosing the camera, image, animation, cut, or editorial claim that answers it.

riffmaw.prepare_music_cue_map@1 creates MusicCueMap@1 under a declared timebase. Events, ranges, intensity, continuity, entrances/exits, accents, transitions, and uncertainty each point to an exact MusicAssetBundle@1 revision and source region. Beat grids, sections, vocal/instrumental entrances, and synchronization anchors remain musical evidence.

Atelier judges visual response; Broadcast places it in the final timeline. Dialogue replacement belongs to Language Edition; picture effects and ambience have Broadcast cues. Consumers request a successor instead of editing Riffmaw's map.

Kinesis may use the exact map in admitted synchronize or constrained-generation work. Its new motion derivative keeps music digest, clock relation, anchors, and uncertainty without rewriting the map or deciding creative acceptance.

A retime, frame-rate conversion, shorter master, or changed mix may make the map stale. Reject a mismatched digest/timebase and create a new map revision while preserving the earlier relation as history. Timing-only changes stale dependent synchronization approvals; changed source revisions, consent, or use boundaries must still follow each owner's invalidation rules.

Consumers then judge successors against the new exact references. A shared studio control may propose these related changes together, but each owner retains its accepted records and judgment of the successor.

An audiovisual SuiteApp Bundle may coordinate exact music, visuals, and cues. It owns the coordination's aggregate ceilings, correlation, and partial settlement under Workflow. Members retain their files, provider sessions, creative approvals, domain budget judgment, SigilsID Badges, and publication authority.
