Edit
In plain words: Broadcast: timeline editing
How Broadcast admits visual, music, language and sound bundles by exact digest and arranges them in one revisioned timeline, with review and bounded repairs.
- 1Requests to other apps carry no credentials or effect authority.
- 2Retimes, replacements or changed words create a new timeline revision.
- 3Tools like FFmpeg execute the edit; they do not decide it.

An accepted image, music master, spoken edition, and room tone still need an editor to decide how they meet. Edit makes that audiovisual relation explicit in one revisioned timeline.
Admit the assets
Begin by establishing exactly what each contribution is allowed to do in this edit. Admit VisualAssetBundle@1, MusicAssetBundle@1, TimedLanguageAssetBundle@2, and PictureSoundBundle@1 by exact digest, semantic role, limits, provenance, use boundary, validators, findings, and approval.
Keep each role owner's SemanticFacetAdmissionReceipt@1, including the compound digest when facets share a PrismVision & Media parent. Broadcast then records its own editorial acceptance of their use together. It owns picture-bound sound; visual, music, and timed-language judgment and lineage remain with Atelier, Riffmaw, and Language Edition respectively.
VisualAssetRequest@1 asks Atelier for role, target, timing, constraints, source/likeness requirements, and request digest. MusicAssetRequest@1 asks Riffmaw for musical role/timing. LanguageVersionRequest@2 asks Language Edition for source-aligned words and performance; PictureSoundBrief@1 opens Broadcast's own sound work. These requests carry no credentials, SigilsID Badges, sessions, approvals, or downstream effect authority.
Own the timeline
Bind script spans, narration, captions, storyboard, all asset revisions, and transitions to an explicit timebase. MusicCueMap@1 and PictureSoundCueMap@1 expose producer events; Broadcast chooses placement and cut. Retime, replacement, and changed words create a successor timeline and stale affected approvals.
broadcast.review_package@2 returns findings against pacing, claim/image relation, continuity, captions, legibility, loudness balance, and target fit. broadcast.revise_from_correction@2 permits a bounded forward repair. Wrong digests, timebases, claims, or use limits produce findings/refusal instead of an approximate edit.
The timeline also determines which changes need new creative judgment. Generative video editing requests new upstream visual work and cannot be treated as a deterministic trim. Pinned FFmpeg or equivalent tools may probe, trim, concatenate, retime, overlay, mix, mux, and encode under the timeline. The tools execute those operations; they neither decide the edit nor admit stochastic media facets.
Render receives the accepted timeline without permission to publish.
