Seed
In plain words: Memory Seed: what is kept
A conceptual page on the Memory Seed: something a past action leaves behind that can shape a future action. It stresses that keeping memory must never outrank correcting it.
- 1Every Seed carries a trace, but not every trace is still able to influence future work.
- 2A poisoned Seed can grow too, so preservation must not outrank correction.
- 3Semantic memory (Karma) is still Designed according to What Actually Works.

Memory Seed / Remembering Seed & Recall
A Seed is something kept that can matter later. Recall is when it comes back and influences a new task.
It's like: A note you wrote yourself (Seed) and finding it at the right moment (Recall).

A trace records the dead. A SeedMemory Seed can raise it.
A SeedMemory Seed is retained potency: what movement leaves able to move again. It is dormant causality, not stored Flux. Every SeedMemory Seed carries a trace, but not every trace is still alive.
Bīja means seed: conditioning considered as latent causal potency. Saṃskāra names the impression or conditioning left by prior activity. They are related, not interchangeable: LychD uses SeedMemory Seed for conditioning able to germinate into later Flux. Nor is Saṃskāra Saṃsāra, the cycle of birth and death.
Saṃsāra is the Wheel. Saṃskāra is the groove. The SeedMemory Seed is what can make the wheel turn again.
Follow a SeedMemory Seed through conditioning → recognition → germination. Conditioning leaves a form able to affect another turn. Recognition finds its relevance. Germination lets Recall bring it into active Flux. An inherited disposition and an attributable Phylactery record offer different surfaces for that return; each can carry the same defining potency.
The Yoga Sūtras distinguish samādhi with seed (sabīja, I.46) and seedless (nirbīja, I.51); the Patañjali Yoga Sūtra portal preserves the source route. LychD receives one limited distinction: with SeedMemory Seed, formative potential can condition another turn; seedless, no project SeedMemory Seed remains to regenerate the loop. This does not make shutdown, deletion, data loss, or amnesia a form of liberation.
The LichAssistant is the vow of sabīja: preserve one SeedMemory Seed through death so the Call may find it again.
Recurrence requires a SeedMemory Seed, yet preservation cannot outrank correction: a poisoned SeedMemory Seed germinates too. ADR 27 — Memory owns ArchiveLong-term Memory and retrieval; semantic KarmaLessons Learned is Designed, as State of Work records.
