Recall
In plain words: Remembering: bringing memory back
A short conceptual page on Remembering (Recall): retrieving a stored memory, judging if it is relevant, and letting it influence the current task. Similarity alone does not prove a memory true or permitted.
- 1Recall runs storage, retrieval, relevance, then reanimation into the current task.
- 2Returned memories can be false, stale or someone else's; Own it decides how confidently to use them.
- 3Semantic memory (Karma) remains Designed; Design Rule 27 owns archive and retrieval.

The Call summons what is present. Recall summons what remains.
Recall is retained form becoming present movement again, not retrieval of a stored Flux. Smṛti comes from smṛ: to remember or call to mind. In Patañjali’s map it is itself a Vṛtti: retained cognition becoming present cognition.
Follow storage → retrieval → relevance → reanimation. Retrieval finds a candidate; relevance recognizes what might answer the present situation. Recall completes only when reanimation lets that form shape active Flux. The same field can call toward a present signal or a latent Seed.
Returned form can be false, obsolete, or in the wrong relation. Similarity establishes neither truth, provenance, nor permission. Answer decides whether the present center may say I remember, must say this seems familiar, or must refuse the form.
Déjà Vu: Recall whose tombstone has lost its name.
Flux leaves conditioning; SeedMemory Seed preserves the power to return; relevance opens the path; RecallMemory Seed reanimates that power as present movement. ADR 27 — Memory owns archive and retrieval behavior. Semantic KarmaLessons Learned remains Designed in the State of Work.
