Spirit
In plain words: Remember: experience over time
Introduces the Remember function (Spirit): how experience is carried forward. It has three parts: what is happening now (Flux), what is kept for later (Seed) and bringing it back (Recall).
- 1Three dynamics: Flux (now), Seed (retained potential) and Recall (retained form becoming active again).
- 2Memory shows up in model weights, Memory Vault records and the assembled Briefing Pack (Context).
- 3Design Rule 21 owns context; Design Rule 27 owns long-term memory and recall.

What moves through you may yet move you again.
Spirit is LychD's name for Citta, from cit: to perceive or attend. It is the office that bears conditioning through present movement, retention, and return.
Call, Blade, Spiritmind office, and Answer are four coequal functions of one inner instrument. Call addresses what has arisen; Blademind office discriminates; Spiritmind office conditions and remembers; Answer attributes act and consequence to a local “I.” Spiritmind office’s three dynamics do not place it above the others.
Spirit has three dynamics:
- Flux — Vṛtti: the Spiritmind office moving now;
- Seed — Bīja: retained potency that may shape another movement;
- Recall — Smṛti: retained form becoming present movement again.
The Flux passes. The SeedMemory Seed remains. Recall returns the SeedMemory Seed into Flux.
The terms are LychD correspondences, kept beside rather than inside their sources. Later Vedāntic four-function presentations, classical Sāṃkhya’s threefold internal organ, and Yoga’s broader Citta and Vṛttis are distinct registers. Inner Tongue keeps the source notes, limits, and working distinctions.
Spirit's conditioning can appear on three surfaces: model dispositions carry parametric inheritance; PhylacteryMemory Vault records and governed retrieval carry durable forms; assembled ContextBriefing Pack brings material into the present. These surfaces explain how retained form can matter without reducing the office to one storage mechanism. ADR 21 — Context owns the active field; ADR 27 — Memory owns durable ArchiveLong-term Memory and RecallMemory Seed.
